Dear friends in the design community, as many of you know, I’ve been involved in the resolution of construction disputes for many years and as a result, have insight into why construction projects sometimes go wrong. It’s part of the reason our firm, Rusk Renovations, does so much to make projects go smoothly and transparently. I have worked with Robert Herrmann, a fine construction law attorney, and Robert Buford, retired managing partner of Robert A. M. Stern architects to put together a workshop to share our insights with architects. We’re presenting this program at the AIA for continuing education credit next Wednesday [October 8th] at 6PM. A similar presentation was made by Bob Herrmann and I at the Institute for Classical Art and Architecture a few months ago. I hope you can join us.
